My figures are made to be realistic representations of soldiers in the War between the States. They are molded from high quality soft lead; individually sculpted to give each its own unique character or attitude, and then hand painted with as many as 14 different colors. Each figure is often "dirtied up" a bit using an almost clear wash to add an authentic look.

Confederate figure are often give a "late war" look with different colored clothes, patches etcetera.

No two figures are exactly the same, and pronounced variations occur in hair color, rank, body position, etc.

Custom painting is available for every item including flags and chess sets. I also do custom design of uniforms, figures or groupings by quote.

I also offer chess pieces that are sculpted and painted by hand and given the same variations as my regular figures. No two chess pieces, including pawns are the same.

There are over 200 designs and all are also available 'unpainted' or 'unfinished'.

My figures should be kept away from small children.
